GodThe living testimony of those who live their giving to God out of love is a sign of the action of the Holy Spirit, a clear and visible sign of the loving interaction between God and men.
We mutually accompany each other on this path, sharing the desire of living united in the same spirit that leads us to giving ourselves in favor of our brothers. This wish, expressed and lived in community, nurtures the sense of belonging. It is united in this spirit that we build the Work of Love and Redemption.
The path of giving
We are all called to live in a close and daily relationship with God. The Holy Spirit restlessly blows over us his graces to help us get closer to him, to learn to listen to him and know what his divine will is.
The path of giving is the means that sustains the Pilgrims in their search of God and their own fulfilment as believing persons. This path consists of putting in God´s hands everything we live every day. Each offer we make is taken by him and we receive major graces in return. Letting God do in our lives is what Pilgrims live in their daily walk, experiencing their closeness with the Spirit, that accompanies them every day.
By our giving we unite to our brothers
The path of giving isn´t covered in one day, it´s rather a lifelong walk. The more we give ourselves, the more the Holy Spirit inspires in us greater desires of giving. Our disposition to let ourselves be transformed by his grace into means of sanctification and salvation for our brothers is thus increased. Because, the more we give ourselves, the greater is the desire that God prints in our hearts that all we live gives fruit for ourselves and the others.
The Holy Spirit converts us
The action of Grace in us, by means of our daily offering of everything we live, makes it possible for the Holy Spirit to convert us in souls that give ourselves to God and the others. This leads us to a greater union with him and enhances our desire of offering everything we live for the sake of all our brothers, without distinction.
Offering ourselves
As we experience God´s love that acts in us for the good of everyone, our giving becomes an offering. Giving oneself means disposing our entire life so that he can dispose of us, for the good of our brothers. The offering soul thus collaborates in the salvation of the entire world, offering itself.
By means of the Sacred Hearts
Through the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Pilgrims are imprinted the mark of collaborating souls in the plan of salvation of the whole world. Associated with the work of Redemption, we live his call to participate in it with our lives given and offered every day. By the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Pilgrims are inspired and sustained, being Mary our most perfect model of self- surrender and offering.
