THE LIFE OF GRACE IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD AND HIS ANGELS
No, you have approached Mount Zion and the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and countless angels in festal gathering, and the assembly of the firstborn enrolled in heaven. (Hebrews 12: 22-23).
MEDITATION ON THE BIBLICAL TEXT
The Epistle to the Hebrews tells us that we, those who believe in Christ, should not fear God as Moses feared before the roar of thunder on the holy mountain. Instead, with Jesus we have approached the true mountain, to heavenly Jerusalem. That is, to heaven where God is surrounded by a multitude of angels. Because the Lord has opened the doors of Heaven for us so that, from now on, we can contemplate him in spirit and in our hearts.
A LOOK INTO THE HEART
We strongly believe that God dwells in us through love. We believe that Christ comes to us in a real way in the Eucharist. We believe with hope that in Heaven he awaits us surrounded by his glory. We also believe that the holy angels are sent by God to assist us and to strengthen us in our faith. Believing is enough to reach full awareness of the supernatural reality that is within us and that constantly surrounds us.
PRAYER TO SAINT MICHAEL, GABRIEL AND RAPHAEL
Saint Michael, Gabriel and Rafael, I ask you on this seventh day that I do not drop my praying, that I may participate in the Eucharist every day and keep my hope alive so that I can live my faith with joy knowing that God loves me with great predilection. Help me to always keep my faith, hope and charity alive. Amen.
End the day with:
Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be.
Holy archangels, pray for us.
