The purpose of this novena is to prepare our hearts and dispose our spirit to live Christmas fully. This means that we can receive, for ourselves and for others, all the graces that the Father grants us as the first fruit when we remember and celebrate with love this such a great event as is the birth of our Savior.
In order to prepare ourselves, each day of this novena we will meditate on this mystery, so that it deepens in our hearts. The birth of our Savior is the greatest mystery of love that is gifted and offered to us so that we can bear much fruit and live our lives to the full, aware of the most appreciated gift of our earthly existence, which is salvation that comes to meet us every day through Jesus and his grace.
That we are born with Jesus to the life of grace is what the Holy Spirit wants for each one of us in this novena. It depends on us and on our generous disposition that we can receive and communicate the gift that we received and that we will receive more abundantly in this celebration of the birth of our Redeemer.
The infinite love of God does not ask much of us, just that we open our hearts and are ready to listen to him in these days, letting ourselves be touched, questioned and felt, so that we can be open and willing to receive everything that God wants to give us in this time of Advent and especially at Christmas.
