THE HOLY SPIRIT SUSTAINS US AND HELPS US
The church throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria was at peace. It was being built up and walked in the fear of the Lord, and with the consolation of the holy Spirit it grew in numbers. (Acts 9:31)
REFLECTION
The early Church was growing and consolidating itself through the action of the Spirit. The work of the Lord was then becoming fruitful, adding new disciples and enjoying peace. The Spirit, always present, constantly offers us his help. We believe in his vital action in the world, in the Church and in ourselves, that is why we dare always go to him. His strength frees us and gives us the energy we need to keep going.

Do I call on the Holy Spirit every time I need him?
INTENTION
I allow the Holy Spirit to be my help in my needs.
PRAYER
Merciful Father, in moments of bewilderment, fear and restlessness, give us the necessary faith to implore your help, so that we can thus receive the graces that you give us without measure through the action of your Holy Spirit. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
