THE HOLY SPIRIT GIVES US THE GIFT OF CONFIDENCE
So they (Pablo and Barnabas) stayed for a considerable period, speaking out boldly for the Lord, who confirmed the word about his grace by granting signs and wonders to occur through their hands. (Acts 14:3)
REFLECTION
The account of the Acts tells us that despite the threats the apostles continued to announce the Word with freedom and confidence. Thanks to the trust placed in the Lord, they became capable and courageous to fulfill their mission. The confidence that the Lord can do everything in us and through us will always allow us to fully carry out our lives as his beloved children and to fully realize our mission of being transmitters of his Gospel.
EXAM
Do I truly put my trust in the Lord and surrender to his will with docility?
INTENTION
I ask the Holy Spirit for meekness and docility so that, with confidence and without fear, I can abandon myself to him and thus live in total fidelity to Jesus Christ, being his witness before my brothers.
PRAYER
Beloved Father, that we know how to trust you so that we can fully realize your designs comforted by your grace and by the great love with which you privilege us every day. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be.
