PRAYER TO MARY MOTHER OF PILGRIMS 

Mary, you desired to be our companion in this path of giving we live every day. We take you as our Mother of pilgrims, so that you may always walk ahead of us, opening the way for us, pointing out the goal, and giving us an example of love that is donated and offered.

We entrust ourselves to you, our sweet Mother, since we know that because of you the path is safe and we glimpse the goal without fear. Strengthen us every day in our commitment to love and offering so that we can be your instruments and serve in the cause of the salvation of souls. Amen. 

During those days Mary set out and traveled to the hill country in haste to a town of Judah (Luke 1:39).

REFLECTION

After the Announcement, Mary set out without delay. The disposition of her Heart was such that she did not doubt, instead she did what she felt the Lord was asking of her and she went to the house of Elizabeth to assist her in her pregnancy. She did what she had to do because she was open to the grace that was constantly pointing her way. Our confident disposition to give ourselves is that bridge between our willingness to pay attention to the Lord's requests and the work that he does in us. The path of the mountain that our Mother traversed shows us that despite the difficulties, she will always be the path for our growth and fulfillment sustained in the will of God.

INNER LOOK

Is my disposition and openness to the Grace constant? When am I more open and available to what the Spirit asks or suggests?

INTENTION

I ask the Holy Spirit, on this fifth day, to help me to be always available, not to be afraid of what he may ask of me, but rather to trust him more.

PRAYER

My Father, help me see in this attitude of Mary one more reason to inspire me, to always be open and available to you and to others. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
