CONSECRATION
Sacred Heart of Jesus, today I consecrate my little heart to you, so that through the offering of each day and my whole life I may live united to you for the love of God and my brothers. I want to make a permanent offering of my life. May your will be done. Amen.
“Now to him who is able to accomplish far more than all we ask or imagine, by the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen”.
(Ephesians, 3: 20-21).
REFLECTION
The life of grace is intimately connected to the love that Jesus bestows on us through his infinite merits. That love is powerful and works in us every time we give ourselves unreservedly. Thus, by virtue of this loving offering, we become an effective means for others to receive as well.
EXAM
Can I conceive that, by means of my small giving of each day, the Divine Heart of Jesus can do everything for the good, joy and consolation of myself and others?
INTENTION
I want to make my life a true gift of love and thus live the love that the Heart of Christ deposits in my heart for my own sanctification and that of all my brothers.
PRAYER
Sacred Heart of Jesus, receive the gift of my little life and make me your instrument so that your love fills me and reaches all those who most need your mercy. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
