Prayer of abandonment
Eternal God, I abandon myself to you on this day, so that you are the Maker of all my life. There’s nothing I wish more than living what you want and doing your divine will. May my soul rise, oh my God, and be taken by your Divine Goodness and led to the full realization of your designs. Today I abandon myself forever in your hands. Amen.
Reflection
Throughout our entire life, God's work in us does not cease. He leads us through his grace so that we can give ourselves more. He wants us to put in his hands everything we live and what we are, because his love for each one is immense and very particular. He created us for him, he animates and encourages us every day, and he never ceases to call us so that we can live fully as his children.
Intention
On this day, I propose myself to offer Jesus, through Mary, everything that I am living, especially those things with which I am not reconciled.
I finish the first day by praying the Our Father, the Hail Mary and the Glory Be.
