Prayer of abandonment
Eternal God, I abandon myself to you on this day, so that you are the Maker of all my life. There’s nothing I wish more than living what you want and doing your divine will. May my soul rise, oh my God, and be taken by your Divine Goodness and led to the full realization of your designs. Today I abandon myself forever in your hands. Amen.
Reflection
Being docile to the action of the Spirit means not resisting what God asks of us but, with a humble spirit, letting God do everything in us. Fidelity to God consists in being docile to the Holy Spirit.
Intention
We have reached the sixth day of the Novena; let us ask for the grace of docility so that we can persevere in the path of our giving and abandon ourselves more and more in the hands of our Heavenly Father.
I end this sixth day praying the Our Father, the Hail Mary and the Glory Be.
