STRENGTHEN THE HANDS THAT ARE FEEBLE, MAKE FIRM THE KNEES THAT ARE WEAK, SAY TO THOSE WHOSE HEARTS ARE FRIGHTENED: BE STRONG, FEAR NOT! HERE IS YOUR GOD, HE COMES WITH VINDICATION WITH DIVINE RECOMPENSE HE COMES TO SAVE YOU. (Isaiah 35: 3-4).
Oh, my Jesus, again you collapse and fall to the ground. I look at you exhausted and fainted along the way. The weight that you have supported has crushed you and you can hardly get up on your own. Your agitated Heart is already experiencing agony. You are about to die, but you make a new effort to move on. I want to contemplate you and recognize you at this moment in the splendor of your excellent glory to which you will be elevated by the Father.
Despite the cruelty of some and the insults of others, the abandonment of your beloved ones and the indifference of many, my Jesus, you embrace the will of the Father and rise up to follow your path until death. Oh, Lord, may so much pain not be in vain. Let's go forward, that we are almost there! Don't stop your steps, don't stop saving us!
Beloved Father, to live as you want, we only need to follow your ways, open our hearts to receive from you all the graces you have to give us and communicate your love to others. Do not take into account our poverty but look at our desire to serve you in fidelity and in the love given. Grant us that, in our smallness and weakness, we can see your infinite grace that works in us and in our brothers. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
